Svetlana - Circle Line Train, London King's Cross

One of our officers found Svetlana tucked away on a Circle Line train as it pulled into London King’s Cross Underground Station. We decided to recruit her for a couple of shifts and she fitted in with British Transport Police’s Circle Line West Neighbourhood Policing Team nicely. Svetlana also spent time relaxing in the canteen, as well as beginning an application to be a Sergeant.

Svetlana helped us distribute BTP’s new Contact Cards for our text reporting service. This service allows railway passengers in the UK to text 61016 to report any crime or incidents – discreetly. These texts are handled by the Force Control Room and are treated with the same priority as ‘phone calls. If appropriate, officers will be immediately deployed to deal with the incidents reported.

Please follow us on twitter @BTP and @BTPCircle for updates on what we’re doing on the railway network. We can also be reached by calling 0800 40 50 40. Further information is available on our website: www.btp.police.uk

In an emergency always call 999.
