Máel - Tignes

Hello everybody. First of all I would like to apologise. My dad found Máel at his work in Cambridge and since then it has been left in our car for a few years. So I apologise to anyone who has missed this legoman.
Máel had a great time in Tignes and that is where we left him. Hopefully the next person doesn’t leave it in their car ;)

Homer - Norfolk, England

Yes, I was finally found!

It was nice in Northfolk living in a big holiday House with a ghost named John and a new family, group of friends or even hen party every week, but it was time to show myself and start my road trip.

I overheard a family with a Dutch Mum, English dad and two boys who are all crazy about Lego. Mum gets driven crazy by Lego, but the boys including the dad are totally Lego-minded. So the perfect family to show myself to as they were setting of on a road trip around England, France, Belgium and ending in Holland. And they agreed to have me hop along!!

So here I am... driving front seat in the VWbus. I’ve been to Bedford last night and going to the new Forrest now.

Life is good.
Love, Homer

Patrick - Palmdale, California, USA

Since leaving Gemini Observatory in January 2017, I've been hanging out with the cool telescope operators of the Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA).  The picture you see is me on a model of SOFIA in their offices in Palmdale, California, where they work most of the year.

Tomorrow, SOFIA will be headed to Christchurch, New Zealand for it's annual 2-month deployment where it will gather data on southern hemisphere targets.  I will join it on several of it's flights out of Christchurch, which I will photograph and document here.

Sincerely,
Patrick (the LEGO man on his way to the Very Large Array in New Mexico)

Afaf travels from the Thames Barrier to the Shard

Found at the outer eastern reaches of the great city Afaf was gazing upon the architectural wonder of the Thames barrier when I found him. He felt like a bit of luxury so went to stay in the Shangri La hotel at The Shard. Here he is on the 50th floor gazing down at the river below on a wet and windy London morning. He was left at London Bridge tube station hoping to head off on a new adventure in the city.

Meriadoc in Happisburgh, Norfolk

Meriadoc enjoyed a trip to the beach and a walk along the cliffs to see a pill box in Happisburgh, Norfolk, UK. Happy holidays!
