Hei! After some years in a drawer, Tarn is out on the road again!
Here in Norway near the boarder towards Sweden at DNT Haukenestårnet. It was a watching tower to detect forest fires.
Lego Men have been released into the wild with nothing but a sense of adventure and a link to this website. Follow their progress here!
If you have found a Lego Man, and want to make a post, it's easy! Just read How to Make a Post.

Like everything else, it seems this pandemic has cut down on travel for me and my colleagues. Although Patrick, that *******, got to go to Germany and Tahiti this year. It seems that most of my colleagues are MIA at this point, and it probably seemed that I was as well, as I think this is my first post.
I don’t remember how I got there, perhaps due to the lovely landscape, lasses, and lager in Ireland, but I was found stumbling around on the top of Carrauntoohil. For you non-Gaelics, that is the highest point in Ireland.
I made it back to North Carolina (US), where I spent too much time focusing on work and responsibilities. As you can see, that caused me to lose my hair.
You can also see from my facial expression, the stress has been getting to me, so I am about to go on another adventure through the heartland of the US. Getting out, seeing nature, going off-road in my 4x4, and spending some time with old friends, is exactly what is called for at this time. Where I will end up after that, is anyone’s guess.
All the best,
Jeddite
On my way to the Very Large Array in New Mexico I ended up helping out on the Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA). However, the global pandemic restricted my travel, thus I was stranded in Cologne for a while. However, my goal in mined I took the opportunity to join the GREAT team on the southern deployment in Tahiti.
It look like this is just the beginning of a great journey ..
Cheers,
Patrick (the LEGO man on his way to the Very Large Array in New Mexico)
Since last checking in, I went to Christchurch, New Zealand with the Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA). That deployment was back in July/August of 2019. Sadly, I didn't get any photos (was too busy helping with observations of cool Southern Hemisphere objects).
