Meet Aldo! We discovered Aldo lounging under a rock enclosure up at the Watchman Peak lookout at Crater Lake National Park in June 2014. The climb up was all snow covered with no sight of a trail. There were no other foot prints on our way up to the Watchman Peak. We all had a blast sliding down the mountain on our backsides in June!!
Aldo has since flown from Oregon to Maryland where he had joined in on numerous mountain bike rides, as well as, riding along for the Patapsco 100 mountain bike race in the Baltimore, Maryland area, and the Civil War Century.
Aldo then ventured to Aspen, Colorado in the fall to see the beautiful transformation of colors.
Aldo was placed in a perfect viewing location for his next adventures to begin after the long hike up to the Conundrum Creek Hot Springs where he took in the amazing view over the hot springs looking down into the valley awaiting his next companion.
Goodbye old friend. May the rest of your life be full of the adventures that you seek!
