Hi,
I was introduced to Gabriel by a friend in Birmingham, UK. I invited him to join me for the Christmas holidays in Oberhausen, Germany. Here you see him in front of our town's landmark the Gasometer. On New Year he will leave me to continue his journey...

Ashley- Barcelona (Spain)
Hi!
We met Ashley on our Christmas party last Saturday. Raquel found her in the UK (Birmingham), and took her home to spend the holidays with her in her hometown (Barcelona). Since last Friday, Ashley's been travelling around Barcelona inside Raquel's bag, and she introduced us to her during our dinner.
We took some pictures:
1. Ashley discovered our famous San Miguel beer
2. Ashley likes candies

Ralph - Sydney, Australia
So, here I am right outside Sydney Opera House! I can't believe I've made it this far already. The last picture is where I've been left for now, outside the main entrance to the opera house. My fate now lies in someone else's hands. Goodbye for now! I wonder where I'll end up next...
Ralph :)
Ralph - Melbourne, Australia
Hey again! This is me in Melbourne airport with a very nice member of staff at the coffee shop :) this was actually on November 2nd - I have since ventured further out into Australia and will post the other pictures next...
Ralph - Kent, UK
Hello!
After being found in Birmingham, I got the train with a girl called Jess and was taken to her home in Kent, south-east England. We took a trip to Bluewater, the massive shopping centre, but we weren't there for long - I was soon passed on to Jess's dad to catch a plane and continue my journey all the way to Melbourne, Australia!
Bye for now :)

Ralph - Birmingham, UK
Hello,
I was found by the Faraday sculpture at The University of Birmingham,
I now begin my journey to get as far away from Birmingham as possible.
First stop is Kent, then I'm going all the way to Australia. After
that, who knows? I hope to visit as many countries as possible.
Cheers,
Ralph.
Ted - Fontanil-Cornillon, Isere, France
Hello, I was found by a guy called Andy in New Hall - University Residence at The University of St Andrews, Scotland, UK on 1st September 2011. Since then I travelled with him from St Andrews back to his home in Manchester, England. I travelled by train.
On the 12th September 2011, Andrew travelled with me to Grenoble, France. I decided to hitch a lift since it is atleast in the same country as my destination (Arc de Triomphe, Paris). He plans to take me to his place of work here on Monday, the LPSC ( http://lpsc.in2p3.fr ).
Thanks
Ted
Merci
Ted

GUYBRUSH - Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
Aharr me hearties. I'm back on my travels and I thought I'd immerse myself in a bit of culture at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. Yes, us pirates can be cultured too. It's not all rum and buxom wenches...although I wouldn't say no to either. Ahharrararrrarrrrr (thigh slap (or is that a bit Jacobean of me?)).
For those geographers out there, you will have noticed that I've only travelled a bus journey further from my last post, but without a sturdy craft I'm a bit scuppered. I'm hoping I'll be able to catch a lift with some culture vulture from some exotic corner of the globe...or West Bromwich if all else fails.
Until next time ye land lubbers...

Lyle - New York City, USA : Part 3
Lyle - New York City, USA : Part 2
From the 'top of the rock' (Rockerfeller Building) I had an amazing view, notably of the Empire State Building.
I loved the MoMa museum, so much variety that everybody is sure to find something to their taste.
I hailed a taxi, but they were too busy avoiding cows that in the end I just walked everywhere.
Lyle - Boston, USA
I learnt a lot about America's not so distant history whilst I stayed in Boston and Lexington. I followed the freedom trail across the city and this is what I found along the way...
Went for a stroll around Harvard, what a quaint little place.
I even attended a baseball match - Boston Red Sox vs. Baltimore Orioles. Unfortunately the Red Sox lost this time round, but I almost understand the rules now and I tasted my very first pretzel in America.

Lyle - Montreal, Canada
A little stroll in Mont Royal park one sunny Sunday in September
Panoramic view, worth the trek to the top :)
Time to reenergise with a little espresso and a blueberry muffin in Little Italy, North of Montreal
A cheeky cupcake for the tiresome walk back to the auberge
... oooo, learning a little french too, bonsoir mes amis et a bientot pour des prochains aventures :)
ps. I lost my oar whilst travelling across the Atlantic, but do not fear, it magically reappeared in the mouth of a whale in the St Laurent river.

Lyle - Bordeaux, France (Setting off)
I began my journey beneath the column in the Place des Quinconces, Bordeaux.
I did a few laps of the Place to get my spirits up but since it's one of Europe's largest city squares and my legs are only 2cm long it was rather tiring. I decided to have a little rest in a quiet, shady spot behind this bronze shell.
While resting, I considered where would be best to go next... wherever it is I hope they have muffins!

GUYBRUSH
I was found looking longingly out of a window at the University of Birmingham's Main Library, dreaming of the infinte possibilities that await a jaunty pirate like myself.
Although I had enjoyed perusing the anthropology books in 2D, I felt my ambitions lay elsewhere...out in the big world.
....who knows where I'll end up next...
